Welcome to Neal Hamilton's Official site Just as Rock and Roll music is wild, passionate and over the edge, so is my approach to painting portraits of my Rock and Roll heroes. I crank their music when I´m painting. I dont use traditional brushes, so I fuse together the music and the visuals, like I´m channeling their personality and breathing life into each portrait. I use an arraw of unusual tools to create my work, I believe this style makes you want to look into thier eyes and feel their souls. My hope is that my energy and theirs blast through the canvas and pulsates through my bold pours, drips, textures and splatters of electric colors. Featured Art: Michael Jackson 24" x 48" 2008 In my opinion, Michael Jackson (after his days with the Jackson 5) is one of the greatest performers in the world. This performer came from and was trained by the best of the Motown era. His electrifying stage shows were unbelievable. Though Michael has gone through many looks, I selected this period in his career for this portrait.
